In a time of rapid change and growing complexity, companies are increasingly faced with the challenge of renewing themselves from within. What is needed are leaders who not only manage, but actively shape - entrepreneurial specialists and managers who drive innovation, develop new business models and take responsibility for change.

The MBA Corporate Entrepreneurship is aimed at precisely these creators: professionals with the ambition to make the future possible in the company - through strategic thinking, innovative strength and modern leadership.

With a clear focus on intrapreneurship, digital value creation and internal innovation management, the programme offers a unique specialisation within our MBA portfolio.

It combines interdisciplinary perspectives with an international focus, a scientific foundation with practical relevance - and thus creates an ideal environment for the further development of future-oriented careers.


Fact Sheet

  • Degree: Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Standard period of study: 5 semesters (4 semesters input from lectures, 5th semester Master's thesis)
  • Start: annually in the summer semester
  • Application deadline: 15 January
  • Time required for attendance phases:
    • The course dates take place in a hybrid model in a mixture of presence events and web conferences
    • The lectures take place in block mode max. 1x per month. The blocks are held in 3-day (Thursday to Saturday) and 2-day blocks (Friday and Saturday).
    • Bavarian holidays are lecture-free
    • Stays in Berlin and NATO representations are also planned as part of the programme
  • Costs: 5 instalments of €3,600 each (payable per semester) + €82 student union fee + one-off administration fee of €1,150

Target Group

The degree programme is aimed at professionals with initial management or project responsibility who wish to take on entrepreneurial responsibility within a company and develop their skills in the areas of innovation, strategy and leadership. The programme is particularly aimed at specialists and managers from technical, business or IT-related fields as well as consultants who want to develop their career path in the direction of corporate development, innovation management or agile leadership roles.

The MBA is interdisciplinary in nature and appeals to individuals who not only want to manage processes, but also actively shape change within the company.


Course Content

The MBA focusses on promoting entrepreneurial skills in a corporate context through a basic curriculum in general management and a specialisation curriculum with industry-specific modules and topics.

The basic competences in the first two semesters are offered as a Studium Generale for all MBA programmes. This creates an MBA-wide exchange and opportunity for cross-industry networking and socialising.

Application

Admission requirements

  • Completed first degree at a recognised college/university
  • At least 1 year of work experience (to be submitted by the end of the 2nd semester)
  • Successful completion of the application procedure including an orientation interview

Application MBA Corporate Entrepreneurship

Applications are accepted all year round. Places are limited to 20 participants.

  • Copy of ID card
  • Tabular curriculum vitae (signed) with passport photo
  • Copy of the university entrance qualification, e.g. school leaving certificate
  • Copy of the certificate of the first degree
  • Proof of professional experience (at least 1 year), e.g. confirmation from the employer or work certificate
  • Letter of motivation (1 page, signed)
